Default Toaf??

Please excuse my ignorance but what is TOAF?

I have an Autel diagnostic reader and alarm clearance tool, which helps me out of scrapes with the Lexus, and admire the skills of the T4 ops. But What does TOAF have that others do not, or is it worth acquiring?

Thanking all in anticipation.

Thank you for the link, I have now TOAF on a mini laptop (XP) and main Laptop (Win 10). Would prefer to use the mini.

Before I start using all the different cables I have here, that I have no idea what they do; can anyone please direct me to the correct one I need.

I am no Computer genius , but do eventually find my way round however a "leg-up" helps us ol' codgers out of the mire!

You need any cheap VAG COM type cable: https://www.ebay.co.uk/sch/i.html?_o...nuine&_sacat=0

Open up the case and solder a link across pins 7 and 8. That's it. Follow the guide posted on here for running TOAF diagnostics.
