Gear knob
Thanks for replying. My Connie is a late Mk.2 so the gear knob needs to be push-fit, is that the type of fitting yours has?

John, you do know there are two types of shaft for these? One has a "D" cut-out, the other a notch across the top. You can change the knob insert to suit if you want

That’s interesting, thank you! Where would I get the alternate insert, please? Also, any suggestions on removing the old gear knob? I can’t shift it despite pulling really hard with both hands crouching in the back seat etc. and none of my beefy friends have been able to shock it out of position either. Thanks again, John
