Funny how prices and release schedules go belly up, in the video they taked about release by October/November last year at a price around the midrange of $10,000 - $20,000 and the price (in that link) is £15,999.99 (why not just say £16,000 ??)

ah well, I can't see me fitting that in my gadget bag

I already have the Sigma 50 - 500mm (which is nicknamed Bigma) and it's a damn good lens. Almost, IMO on a par with my Canon L glass other than the speed.

For £16k I wonder what they've come up with. I wouldn't fancy that hanging from my neck though

Somehow I don’t think they would let you into Heathrow with that to photograph the planes, without causing a terrorist alert!

Now with a lens like that the shots I could get from the roof of the hanger!! but hiding it in my overalls could be a problem!!!
