Default Fairly Rare Purchase

I was browsing the tinterweb the other night when up popped a link I couldn't resist clicking on, I wasn't looking for one of these but I figured it was such a rare beastie nowadays that it was something I couldn't pass up. Yes its the 220 turbo tomcat. If anyone has any parts, knowledge or build data on these it would be much appreciated. Her registration mark is K404 SBJ. She is pretty much complete but will require some work on the cooling system, the radiator has a leak, the heater matrix has been clamped off but I already have one of those on its way and the steering wheel has been chavved so will need replacing with OE if I can locate one as will the gear knob. All in all a very satisfying weekend

Nice

I'm sure I'll have a steering wheel and gear knob kicking about, I've got two complete dashboards in the shed

Mmm, you can't beat a nice XW

I'm always up for a bit of a barter with the right potential buyer...

Well I've joined the coupe owners club (thanks geeza) but it took me long enough to find my way around here! Just hope the MG doesn't get jealous of the tomcat and throw a hissy fit as she's always been a bit temperamental anyways! Cheers Brian for the steering wheel and gear knob, drop me a PM and we'll work something out and looking good Rav! I can see I've a long way to go to get mine looking as good as yours.
