From new
Hi, had my R 75 V8 from new 2007. Was a Liquidators sale release from the stock holding which the liquidators created as 'MG Rover Motors' to save the vast stock from being claimed by SAIC. All the remaining stock was registered in 2005 to ensure legal transfer from the liquidated MGR company.

Had my 53 plate CDTi auto saloon from new in October 2003, now with 69k miles on her. Will keep her till she dies (or I do) and have no idea what I'd replace her by. Nothing appeals. I still really enjoy driving her, just wish I could get some paint the right shade (Starlight Silver) to cover up the odd chips and scuffs.

Bought ours at three years old with only 8000 miles. Now, almost fourteen years on, she has over 115000 miles on the clock. She's insured on a classic limited mileage policy and we use her as our much beloved weekend car. We took her to both the 2006 and 2017 Eden Camp meetings, and hope to attend the next one!

The tourer I bought a couple of weeks ago had been owned by the same owner from 11 miles to 186000 miles. He only gave it up due to age (80) and health. I feel quite proud he let me take it over and hope to get it tidied up and go back to visit him sometime
