And your version of positive is to bash someone that has consistantly shown a high standard of work on numerous members cars and regularly will not accept anywhere near what he should be paid for those services?

Trikey had made no derogatory comment in this thread however you decided to go off topic just to get a bash in and yet you accuse me of having nothing positive to contribute. Perhaps you should take a look at yourself first!

And just to add i did see first hand the issues that Bones had. Did you?

But is screwing up on someone’s engine by not putting antifreeze in and then not offering to contribute to the repair fair? Me and Trikey have argued a few times, especially on Facebook.

Wonder if I should leave this forum. The forum would lose someone with a T4, someone who can recode all modules, repair / Virginise / code diesel ecus. Program transponders and probably other things that I have forgotten. Oh and I’m pretty good at wiring too.

Good for you! Do as you wish.

Still no comment on my mention of no offer made towards the contribution of the repair due to his mistake. Are you by any chance best friends with Trikey?

And with regards to the maps, trikey has only ever offered to do a drag race to try and prove the power. Even though there have been offers of paid dyno runs. Strange that no one will take up the offer

Work quality, I can only speak from experience, everything I have had done has been done properly. Unlike a certain white car called Bones that a well known and trusted Trikey didn't put any antifreeze in which caused the cambelt to slip and mash the valves. Regardless of whether it was going to be dumped at a later date, to fill a customers car with just water is really not the right thing to do and then caused a further repair bill, especially for the cost of probably £10 worth of antifreeze. The car also had a restricted plastic 48mm throttle body on rather than the alloy 48mm it should have had, not sure if this was his doing or not?

You just can’t stop can you, our paths will cross one day sunshine, and now the gloves are well and truly off you little sh1t

I know Trikey well enough to implicitly trust him with any work on my car. It has always been to the highest standard!

If i'm to make a decision based on experience of who i would trust in this case then i am afraid i will defer to the person who has shown me he is to be trusted rather than an armchair warrior who seems to take great pleasure in

over and over and over.

The dyno run is still up for grabs if you would like to prove the power?

I don't charge for what I do, I give people help. Still no acceptance of the dyno run offer?
