Default Were there any 75's in...

Just wondering if there were any 75's built in Solar Red, or similar? Was off out doing some Christmas shopping with my wife today. On our way I saw a facelift 75 in something that looked like solar red, but faded. I've never seen this colour on a 75 before. Unfortunately it was going the opposite direction so I didn't get the Reg.

Cool

Only two produced in Solar Red. Thought to have been a special order for the Newcastle Fire Brigade. One was scrapped, I know as I was there when it was loaded onto the scrap lorry. Have a word with Ian G, he tried rescuing the car.

Also only 2 produced in Rio Red.

That would explain why I've not seen one before then! It looked odd, but at the same time I quite liked it.

Only if someone had gone to the effort of swapping the front bumper for a facelift 75, and the boot trim, and having it painted...

Not any of those, as it was a facelift, but the colour looked closest to the last photo.
