Default Redfive's signature wheels newly refurbished

Posted pics of these on facebook last month but hadn't had the chance to upload them on here yet.

For my birthday I had redfive's signature Dare wheels refurbished as a joint present from Deanna and my parents. Had them done as Insprayation in Kent and have to say they have done an amazing stunning job. The wheels were originally silver with the polished rims, but as I've changed the look of the car quite a bit whilst these have been off (with the tinted tail lights, side repeaters, front indicators, fog lights, gloss black diffuser etc) I thought having them done in silver wouldn't really go. Thought anthracite would be too dark and wouldn't suit these wheels so settled on a mid grey.

Here's some pics, absolutely love them. These were only trial fitted and are now tucked away until the summer months.

I've always liked Red Five, and now she's looking better than ever - you're doing an amazing job Rick.

I have to say though, I think I prefer the black wheels! Can't believe I'm saying that, as those "signature" wheels have always been my favourite feature of Red Five, and the re-furb looks amazing. It's not a criticism of the signature wheels (they're still amazing), but rather a compliment on the others and how they tie in with the overall look.

Having said that, Red Five looks amazing with either set of wheels, so you can't lose . terrific work

The wheels look nice, I can see why you want to wait until summer to fit them though

Between 9 and 12 O'clock if you're wondering

Cheers Cliff to be honest I kind of feel the same. The anthracite apexs suit it so well but I do like having these aftermarket wheels on this one. Redfive kind of loses its identity without them. So will spend 6 months with the apexs fitted and 6 months with the dare wheels

Yeah don't like autogrip tyres but they were on these wheels when I got the car and had loads of tread on them. So thought I'd get the use out of them before changing them. Will probably go for nexens like on my typhoon those tyres are awesome

Nice one mate. They look stunning.

I bet getting the brake dust out of the fronts will be a joy

Thanks mate yeah aha I have black diamond pads fitted now which give off very little brake dust so should stay a lot cleaner this summer
