Default Save Lord Austin's Office at Longbridge

I think it is sad that this is about the last thing left, of what was a major part of our great car manufacturing history.

The goal is to reach 1,500 signatures and they need more support.
You can read more and sign the petition here:

http://chng.it/4fT5xr4BXj

It could help by adding your name.

Given MG / SAIC’s ‘commitment’ to Longbridge which seems to have consisted of retreating further and further back in terms of staffing, operations etc. Surely the correct thing to do to protect the office of Lord Austin (which incidentally has already been moved from its original location at least once!) would be for it to move to the British Motor museum at Gaydon. I think the petition is well meaning but I doubt that the outcome will hold much sway on SAIC sadly.

My thought on this is the same. Perhaps emulating the exhibit at Brooklands of the office of Barnes Wallis.
