Default How to obtain radio code?

I'm looking at a possible car purchase, the radio has lost the code - do we know where we can get the original radio code from? Will it be on the unit somewhere?

thanks.

If it's the original radio then I think any Xpart dealer can look it up from the VIN no. I did that some years ago and assume they still have the info There will be a small fee !
Some folk , like me , do write the code on the radio casing

Someone set my radio up to install the code automatically, before I got her.
One of the forums techies might be able to help with that after you have a code for it.

Xpart are the way to go.
They are the official source.
Failing that, PM me.
