My problem is getting to sleep in the first place. It can take a couple of restless hours. Had bother sleeping since the heart incident which isn't unusual.

Cloudy here, not as cool as it has been in the mornings, doesn't qualify as warm either.

Bloomin ' heck it's warming up now looking at 16C later today according to the beeb. Just took my older brother to get some masonry paint at BQ so thought I'll get a bag of compost as I need a bit more to top up my potato beds as the horns are bursting through the soil & they need covering in case of more frosty nights, £5.80 for 50 litres no thank you so called at my local nurseries and got a 60 ltr bag for for £3.30.

Morning all -just.

Back at home for a rest following babysitting duty.

Looks like folks have been busy doing all sorts of stuff. Makes me feel even more tired than I am.

Had a lovely time with Oliver - photos soon.

Was on the beach at Marsden yesterday. Quizzie went nuts as she loves it and Oliver managed to go from very happy paddling to face planting with some noisy, unhappy results .

Glorious sunshine here.

Have a good one.

PS How did you get on with anniversary shopping Rich? Was the Metro Centre rammed? Congratulations to you both.

Got a new hose head in B&M, probably not the best quality but it'll stop me getting watered as much as the plants are. Need to swap the connector on the hose, not particularly watertight with the hozelock connector that's on it. Can't complain for three quid I suppose.

If you need a new hose head don't get the ones in B&M, manufacturer's name Rolson! Not watertight between the head and the connector, more watertight than the old leaking heads are though, least I didn't have to change into dry clothes when I came back in! It'll do for now until I can get a decent one.

Got an idea in mind Andy; Metrocentre wasn't bad apart from a colossal queue for Primark that I didn't join. Anniversary not until 2 weeks tomorrow btw.

I can't think of any circumstances that would make me go into Primark never mind join a queue for the privilege!

Steve you can get a replace O ting kit from Hozelock B and Q or most garden centres sell them for about £3. If you cant get any locsl I can get youvsome and post them to you. Often its the rubber O ring is perished or worn that causes leaks
