Morning all, a foggy start to the day today and the 05:00 alarm was not a welcomed noise.

Morning all early, and late, risers.
Cloudy start to the day but the sun has made a hole to peek through.

Morning all.
Well, the wall to wall blue sky is gone to be replaced by clouds much like everyone else by the sound of it. Quizzie had a fabulous morning yesterday with Bertie and it was, indeed, a very peaceful afternoon for her. I, of course, was not as we're still sorting out the wedged central heating pipes/skirting boards. Two hour walks with your dog doesn't help getting the jobs done - but it's much more enjoyable . SWMBO's Mazda failed the MoT on a duff washer pump - which I knew about but couldn’t be bothered to grovel about without any sort of handbook/manual to help with how to get at it. Also a bottom ball joint had gone. Nothing exciting and just let the garage sort it. It's a family owned, run and staffed place and they're decent guys and I'm happy to let them faff about on a car that doesn't have a workshop manual or a forum like this to sort stuff out. A few of photos from the weekend. Brownie points if you know where it is from the first one. If not just look at the last . Take care. PS Good news about your mum Rich. And it's looking likely that we will be up for the 8th May. Last edited by AndyN01; 21st April 2021 at 07:38.. |

It's a fair few degrees cooler out there today, Had to get me thick cardy out again Looks like I'll be covering the plants up in the greenhouse again tonight as it's forecast for 0C overnight.

LOL The chuckle bros are up ladders with chainsaw in hand finishing off cutting down the big silver birch trees across the back from me, I've shifted my car to the front of the house out of their way, They've managed to destroy two fence panels on their property already with falling trunks

Evening all - well, it's closer to evening than morning!
I had a lie in this morning, followed by a visit to the chemists to collect a prescription - which wasn't ready - thanks Boots It's been a bright sunny day up here, but the North/North Easterly wind off the North Sea has been a real spoiler - down to 8° in the shade. Final stage of readying the caravan for sale today - connected up the mains supply and checked that all 240 volt items are working - which they are. I'd already given the gas-fired items and 12 volt electrics the once over earlier in the week - just the 'van's running lights to look at now and then get some adverts out there
