I wonder how many 6 nations England would win, if it was still like this.

Great map - it demonstrates just how much changes with time. I’m no expert but I remember how amazed I was having spent a few holidays in Norther Spain on the Atlantic side, that historic trading routes existed all along the SW coast of Europe from Wales, Cornwall, Brittany right down to Northern Spain and Portugal.

I’m not sure why I was surprised - given the relative proximity of the area - but finding that Celtic Welsh language is recognisable in the historic languages of Northern Spain seemed amazing.

I blame the Anglo-Saxons......
