Default Sunroof issue?

Hi all, hope your keeping well

Since we bought our 75 the sunroof has had an issue with the sunroof shade (the clips I believe are at fault and quite common among 75s and zt's and bmw's.

This has been too much of an issue and is something I'm hoping to sort at some point.

More recently I have noticed when I shut the door the rear of the sunroof glass bounces up slightly pushing the glass up from the inside, raises the rear ever so slightly.

I've also noticed the rear of the sunroof glass sits slightly lower than the surround metal roof section. Where the front of the sunroof glass is pretty much flush with the metal surround roof.

Any ideas what can be done as I aren't sure this is right

Thanks
Rob

Have you tried the re-set procedure? With the sunroof closed, press and hold down the centre of the switch for a full 15 seconds. The motor will briefly cycle and should re-set the glass in the correct closed position.

Well... That sorted it that

Holding the button down it did adjust amazingly on its own and it now sits more flush at the rear of the glass and when shutting one of the doors it doesn't jump at the rear of the sunroof glass anymore.

Result!

Many thanks!

Rob
