Default Swapping zt electronics car-to-car

I have two ZT 190s both 2002 same spec.
One is my Project/Driver, the other a Donor Car. Both complete with key sets and all electronics.

I am fitting the doors & boot from the Donor to the Project (damage etc) with all locks intact.

TARGET > Ideally I want to end up using 1 set of key fobs, preferably the donor set (which fit the door/boot locks)

QUESTION > Exactly which electronic/other parts do I need to also swap over from the Donor car? (Assuming this is possible)

Thanks for any advice on this - so I get this right!

If you changing doors and boot with locks, take the donor car fob, and put immo and remote pcb from actual key, rest leave alone.

Oh I forget about it, you should change it too.
Until you have old EWS, ECU, bcu, you have to get all stuff from inside your old key
There is possibility to add your donor remote to bcu, but you still have to use old immo transponder, without manual ingerention to in car EWS

If you changing locks, with remote, key fob, immo , you should change EWS, Engine ECU, BCU, IPK and Light Switch Module too, to have same vin in IPK-BCU-ECU same odo,

Possibly easiest to simply swap the ignition barrel (so 1 key fits all locks etc)
Then swap all the insides between the keys (so remote circuit board, and the immobiliser chip)

I agree with this, swapping all the modules is unnecessary. Swap whatever bits you need to, and then once you've finished, swap the ignition barrel.

Now the key from your donor car will fit all locks and the ignition, but obviously won't start the car.

Then simply take the insides from your old (now defunct) key and swap them with the bits from the key that fits (chip and circuit board).

And hey-presto, you have a key that fits all the locks, ignition and starts the car.

ok got it, thanks - so the Transponder surround in the Ignition barrel is generic then, not specific to one car. that makes things a lot easier.
