New to me ZT-T Rare! Horizon (IBF)
Well there really was a"load of compromisin' on the road to my horizon".
I spotted this car in the background of a picture on another forum. I made a few enquiries as to colour as i could tell it was unusual. I was thinking Ski Blue but it turned out to be Horizon and the owner (who by coincedence is a member here as is the previous owner before him) was willing to sell. I agreed a price once it was up and running with a new MOT and all was well. The collection went a bit awry as I had a lift organised to pick it up from Leicester area roughly 380 miles from me in Kirriemuir. Then my workplace was shut due to a covid outbreak and even though I tested negative i was confined to barracks for 14 days! Thankfully the member from here who was giving me a lift on his way to Wiltshire instead jumped on the train and picked the car up continued to Wiltshire then over next couple of days made his way back to Scotland and delivered the car to me 650 miles later. (KBonney88 is one of the best!!) So its on the drive but i haven't been able to drive it much due to isolating, only short run out for a covid test (which was nice!) The car is in great condition with a few scratches and little things to fix and i'm delighted to be the custodian of another significant monogram. Horizon is the rarest colour MG Rover did with only 4 produced in this colour. there were 2 x ZT-T 190 Se's and 2 x ZR 160's. One ZR went to Germany so only 3 in Britian. Does mean that mine has a twin somewhere as yet undiscovered and seems to be cherished looking at the MOT history of it as does the ZR. Any way I'll stop prattling on and try to post a few pics, in itself only possible due to the help of member Suzublu! Not only a nice well kept car, but a nice colour to boot. Blue of of any hue is good to me. Well done.

I wonder how many unsuspecting owners have a rare colour car and think it's just a blue car ?
