Default Any which way today in the USA..

I know the political symbol of the Republican party is an Elephant.
Soooo, remembering this song from childhood I adapted it.

Donald the Elephant packed his trunk
And said goodbye to the circus
Off he went with a trumpety-trump!
Trump! trump! trump!
Night by night
He danced to the circus band
When Donald was leading the big parade
He looked so proud and grand
No more tricks
For Donald to perform
They taught him how to take a bow
And he took the crowd by storm.

Kev.

Thought that post of mine was not in anyway partisan.

I guess some mods might agree ... but I'm one for the rules and consistency.

I’m just staggered that yet again the Americans only have the choice of two really awful candidates.

One is dead from the neck up and can hardly string a sentence together and the other could easily get a bit part on the “Walking Dead”.

Not much of a choice is it?

Just shows that anyone with any sense at all does not want the job

Well there are a few perks. Look at Clinton and the fun he had with Lewinsky and a cigar. When I heard what he did with a King Edwards I initially thought of a potato.

Took me quite a while to get that image out of my head.....

When you look through your spread fingers at the antics across the pond and ponder the mentality of what so-called civilised people do to/at/with each other and then consider the potential damage if the 'wrong' one gets his feet under the table, it is scary with a capital F.

I'm convinced they all think they are in some kind of Doomsday horror flic and are desperate to get their reaction in first - before anything bad happens.

I've been there once or twice, some years ago, and boy, has it changed.

If it were not so serious I would think their election and legal challenges, calls to stop the count ect were laughable.

How on earth can they think that stopping the count is right?

mmm no wait, they are laughable.
