Dont pay Ancestry.com. Try Jesuschrist Latter-day Saints.......free. I traced my ancestors back to 1720 on their website.

Also, try FindMyPast.com before signing up. Find my past has better access and seems to provide more results.
PM me what you are looking for, and I will try to access it through my work's account later.

I've tried various sites as advised and all they want is money.
I put my query in and they say they have x amount of answers and a link to get to them. Click on the link and they want my card details. If its free why do they want card details?

It's always money
I did an Ancestry DNA test and being adopted, it was the only way to find out who my birth father was. It turns out he gave a false name to my birth mother, and a false age, in fact he was totally unable to tell the truth, but my blood relatives did give me all the medical history I needed.
If it's medical history you need, you should pay for the test and get your first membership for free, then don't renew if you find what you want. People change their names, addresses and lie about their age and parentage, so just going by name and location is unreliable. |
