Default Maf

I had my car at Brown and Gammons in Baldock, the poor running was traced to my MAF, and they replaced it with a Pierburg one, (No Ron Box needed)
not sure what the part number was but car runs great with it.

Any during my MAf searching also came across The " Original" ? MHK101130SLP MaF's for sale mentioning " its the later Cambiare type which replaced the troublesome Bosch ones".

Anyone heard this before .. I havn't .

Yes I've come across those, they're not original at all

The only original bit is the use of the original part number, the SLP means Service line part, for that read we couldn't get the proper ones, or get them for the price we wanted to pay so we got these instead

I've had and seen cars built just before MGR went bust and all have had the original Bosch units

Hi Chris.
Do let us know if it as the right insert, mind you if you remove it you will lose the warranty, so maybe not but it should read.

Hi Chris it looks to be correct so a bargain indeed makes you wonder why they try and sell the other one for treble the cost ? ECP are a rule to them selves

So this is the one you purchased below.

Bosch Air Mass Sensor / Air Flow Meter
Product Code: 434750407

PS Chris to make your photos a large thumb click the large thumb as here below.

Looks like ECP had a glut of the Bosch units they wanted rid of - it was an excellent deal!
To answer the original question, we had to find a cheaper alternative that still worked; the insert we sell is as close as we can get to the Bosch without the price tag. 3 years and counting in my uncle's CDTi (although he doesn't drive it too much!)

Also to echo other comments, Cambiare are just another aftermarket supplier - their stuff is alright, but the Bosch unit will always be the reference point for quality IMO.
I'm of the belief the part change was a cost thing rather than a quality concern.
