He's an ex-Neilsen rep and still uses their products - Liquid Gold is his preference for polishing. Aznu tyre foam (my own personal favourite). I'm not sure what he uses to wash the 600 but I know Neilsen have a few different shampoos and TFRs.

No probs. I used the Liquid Gold myself but I had a black 400 which didn't seem to like the stuff and I ended up using Turtle Wax black polish on it. I currently (well, in better weather anyway) use Megiuars Gold Class (I think that's the name?) and love the finish. I haven't used Liquid Gold for a while now but I can still vouch for the shine on dad's 600.
