Morning all, morning Ian and thank you

As you know yesterday I was at the dentist and to my surprise was an eminent and very experienced dentist attending.

Within moments of sitting in the chair there he was injecting the gums with 14 injections top full mouth, no hanging about, as he was in there straight away, drilling out the old fillings and hammering out the old crowns, then the root canal treatments, but I hardly felt a thing. Amazingly I was calm and didn’t get frightened. The 14 injections were painful, but I did not scream out. Is that the British way?

He screwed and cemented in various posts.

He took some impressions for the bite and said he will be using computer studies to get the bite measurements more accurate as I will need a full arch of Zirconia crowns.

Before he finished he installed temporary crowns and cloves to help with the pain and eating.

The dentist said I can eat normally but not raw carrots. For now the mouth is feeling as though it’s been through a meat grinder and all I can manage is soft food. He is going to wait a week before the next step to allow things to settle down. There is still the lower jaw to do.

Yesterday’s session took about 2 hours.

In the old days, the bad teeth would come out and would be replaced by dentures. These days it’s more about preservation and running up a bill.

More hot weather is on the way to us, so I can’t complain too much

What’s happening with you?

Good morning Steve, how are you?

It was your birthday yesterday and you didn’t reply to the birthday wishes?

Hopefully you are okay and had a great day.

Good morning Jeff, how prudent of you to tile the floor with floor tiles?

I can remember visiting another member at his house with someone who will remain anonymous, but when he used the toilet in the bathroom, he missed his target and urinated all over the carpet and toilet seat. My friends wife was not at all happy. After that, the bathroom was upgraded but without a carpet on the floor.

When the work is completed, if you get the chance do post up some photos as we do like to see them.

Hopefully the weather will be just right for the shoot

Morning Phil, Ouch! That's a lot of dental work done in one go, I remember the last time I had fillings done & trying to drink a cup of tea before the numbing subsided, there was more tea down my front
My brothers just had all his out as they were all loose & he's been fitted with dentures.

I've been ribbing him as he looks like a Wallace & Gromit character with a full set of teeth

Still waiting on the boiler people to start the job It's a pain having no hot water or heating & having to boil pans of water for washing duties.

There is cooking bacon & chicken breasts that need using so I'll be baking a chicken, bacon & mushroom pie today I need to cover the seedlings up in the greenhouses later today as the temps are dropping overnight and for the next few days here.

Off to Whittlingham Country Park in Norwich soon, for a walk around the broad and a bit of lunch. A bit cloudy but hopefully no rain. Must get some go juice as 1/4 of a tank will only last a fortnight! (Lorry driver training - Do NOT run out of diesel!)

Morning Phil,

We are gradually tiling the floors in every room in the bungalow. The Conservatory, Kitchen and Hallway are already tiled. The Bathroom will have the same floor tiles as the Hallway.Just the two bedrooms and lounge to do after that.

The outside studio/office has special high durability wood flooring that you can use a mop on.

You know me with photos........I wouldn't miss the opportunity

Weather looks 'set fair' for this afternoons photoshoot.

This was the 'future classic' car that I shot at the weekend.
Unfortunately the car was Sorn'd so we had to take the photos at the clients home address rather than on location...
