I used three cans repainting the engine bay on the Dorchester, and 1.5l of lacquer! It now looks how it should have looked when it left Cowley back in 99.

well done to you sir, on a very thorough, and no doubt expensive rebuild, really enjoyed your posts, and fantastic photos, of all your work carried out,i just wished I had an ounce of your enthusiasm, you now have one of these fabulous motors that looks like its just rolled off the production line,

Wow, simply stunning !!
It puts most people to shame when you look at a comprehensive overhaul of those proportions !! I've a question, what did you use on the front brake pipes? are they replacements, or have they been painted? It looks fantastic, I take it there isn't soundproofing on the 1800 bulkhead like the V6? or was it simply removed when the panels were off for painting? Anyway kudos to you Chris |
