Morning all, dark and wet this morning, it’s difficult to get motivated on these winter mornings.

Morning all,

According to the weather forecast it should be chucking it down at the moment.

So, unless the house has upped bricks and moved - they're wrong - 'cus it's dry .

Rather thrown me as I'd got an idea about what I might do indoors while it was raining. But, in any case, like the Banana, my get up and go has run away.

Maybe there's an "elephant's graveyard" of get up and go's where they all go for sex, drugs 'n' rock and roll together .

Good morning(ish) to one and all.
Woke to the smell of fresh bread through the house after putting the bread maker on timer last night..It's got to be up there with the best fragrances in the world.
Despite the weatherman saying it's a wet and windy day for us at the moment all we have is a gentle breeze and cloud.
Kitchen makeover now complete so some home baking is on the cards today, sausage rolls, Panettone bread and butter pudding and some Norfolk shortcakes from my dear old mum's recipe..
Had a text from local GP saying that they will be starting the over 70s covid vaccinations in the next couple of weeks and will inform me when to attend.
Stay safe

G'day one and all - it's persisting down here too - one of those day when I'm glad to be a pensioner with no need to cross the threshold.
I'm doing the annual accounts for the local allotment society today - my reward is 2 one litre bottles of Bombay Sapphire Gin

Hi Richard, 100% for being open and for being able to recognise it and for having a plan.

We had an unexpected visit from the building inspector. He asked if he could come inside our house as he did not want anyone else to over hear what he had to say and could he be my friend? had to tell him to put his mask on properly and not leave it on his chin. I wouldn’t let him in.

Then I said “you cannot come in because of Covid and he tried to be intimidating saying our repairs were not up to standard but he could offer me protection from being arrested. Basically he was looking for a bribe. I was disappointed by his visit, which put a downer on the day.
