Default Photo copying.

In the process of making up a family photo album. Got hundreds of photos, want to make copy of original and edit it to put in album. Would i be able to put photo in printer and send copy to lap top. At the moment i am photographing the photo with camera then loading card to lap top which is time consuming.Just need to know if there was a quicker way rather than using camera. Thanks.

Most printers have a scanner built in so you can just scan the images and save them on your pc and would almost certainly be a better quality image than photographing a photograph. Check your printer software to see if scanning is an option or you could buy a cheap scanner if not.
