The SPVM2000 was among the first PDA phones line. They effectively had a lot of problems. These were manufactured by HTC for many phone operators and under many brands. new PDA phones with Windows Mobile 6 have improved platforms and are supposed to be less prone to trouble. (By the way, I'm a mechanical engineer and don't work for phone manufacturers or Microsoft...

Iv'e got an N95 no probs as yet but you could always PM ANDYG as he owns a mobile phone shop hope this helps
