Cool Internal LED guidance

Purchased some LED lights off EBay for the internal ceiling lights and they work brilliantly (PURE WHITE 5 SMD 501 T10 W5W CANBUS ERROR FREE INTERIOR LED SIDE LIGHT to be precise from EBay supplier LightecUK) - the difference in internal car brightness at night is amazingIn a job lot I also acquired bought some of the 36mm longer ones to go in the rear number plate lights but seems a bit of a problem here. Does anyone have a reliable source for these since there seem to be all sorts on EBay but not clear if they will work on our cars.

As far as I am aware you don't need canbus bulbs for the interior as that circuit is not monitored.

Correct, but you do need canbus bulbs for the numberplate light. Front fogs, side repeaters, reversing lights are also non canbus so you can fit any leds.
I've got leds in the sunvisors, under the armrests, extra ones in the boot, glovebox
