Morning all.

The sun is out here on the Essex Coast

Heading inland to Colchester and Ipswich today for work. Will be warmer still without the coastal breeze !

Completion day today on the house. Just need the keys so that I can start the move.

Looks like their might be a hospital visit for me for some more tests. However their is some reasonable good news. My diabetes is on the decline, cholesterol count has dropped quite a way, lost 8lbs in weight since this time last year. My liver and kidneys are operating at 90%, which is excellent for a man of my age. Heart is functioning well, blood pressure is spot on. Urine test was also spot on.

Had my pneumonia jab protecting me against 23 strains of the pneumonia bug. My shoulder feels like it’s been hit with a sledgehammer and is sore.

Still have pain though hence the hospital tests.

That is good news, you have too realise being 79 you are no spring chicken?

Bob,

Sounds like you have Repetitive Strain Injury on your shoulder. Suggest you change to the opposite hand to hold The Rattler. Really pleased your house move is going well. Hope you get keys today. No doubt it will be this afternoon.
Patience is a virtue, always in a woman never in a man. Just have an extra Malt and chill. Rev Jules is showing his age. Has put 10 years too much on you.

Rich,

Beware Kamakaze Tabby Cats when out on bike. Wear padded lycra shorts and apply Petroleum Jelly on sore areas.

Peter.

PS. Cue Rev Jules predictable cry of Pervert.

Having had the pleasure (!) of meeting Julian, I can think of a number of adjectives which could be used to describe him - but I have to say that 'pert' isn't one of them

Nothing to see here - move on please

After those insults - good morning all - I'm afraid we've turned grey and cloudy this morning, with a bit of a sea fret too (or it could just be mizzling on. Haircuts at 2.30pm, and food shopping day today - shouldn't need a lot as we tittle off on our jollies on Tuesday
