Can't help with supplying, but I got a set from Rimmer's. I think there is a How To for the handbrake cable detachment somewhere, but the bigger problem is that you'll need to remove the hubs from the stub axle to get the backplate changed. It's on my To Do list once I get the parts gathered up

whats wrong with the back plates? is it just a case of the brake shoe pins coming through or worse?

the cable just unhooks from the arm of the mechanism and then pulls through. If the cable is stuck in the back plate, once you have the back plate lose heat up the tube on the back that holds the handbrake cable, you should then be able to pull the cable out.

Replace with small nuts and bolts and some cup washers to hold the springs. Fitting the nuts at the back is fiddly where the trailing arm gets in the way but a dab of grease and you'll get there.
