has anybody seen one of these before and what is it for.its on a 180 runs from the breather to the air box and has what looks like a proper plug,never seen it on all the v6s I had.

Looks similar to the fuel purge valve? No idea about the v6, but on the 1.8 its clipped to the side of the battery box

Its only fitted to the auto and used to help gear changes.
