Auto transmission fluid changed this morning. Thanks to all for info and "How to". Much appreciated. Smooth changes and all gears intact so I must have got it right! I put the front end up on my ramps and jacked up the back end until it was level, then popped the axle stands under for belt and braces. All easy to get to that way.

Had a check under the wing wiring loom for chafing and there is plenty of clearance. I'm going to get a bit of rubber heater hose and split it down one side to clip over the sharp edge which causes the problem. Don't know why it wasn't done like that from new. Mind you, it has lasted 20 years like that!

Tomorrow I shall be arranging the uplift of three cars by the scrapman.

I cannot bear the thought of another single day of waste of my life.

I'd rather take the bus

Cool

Put rubber on all 4 corners of the Bear. Recommended to a family run tyre shop in Saltash. Bonus is they open at 7am and they make you a nice cup of tea whilst you wait.
And filled her up with go go juice.

TAKE THE BUS! Surely you jest!

I qualified for a free bus pass a dozen years ago. I still have not arranged that ... What's a bus anyway?

Brian you've gorn well down in my esteem with statements like that.

Whatever happened to that limitless northern resourcefulness?

Only joking but, as someone with far too many cars, I do understand...

Mind you, most of my MGs and Rovers are better, far better than scrapyard bound. Some of them actually start ... occasionally ...

As someone who used to spend lots of time at White Hart Lane... many moons ago...

Giving the mighty CITEH a goal start and now lead 2-1...

Far doos done made my night.

Now 2-2 ... ....

What a game the beautiful one can be... occasionally....

Thumbs up Hate to have missed this.

Didn't touch any of my MG ZTs today. My low mileage 620ti ( 81,000 ) failed the MoT yesterday on one below par rear tyre and poor O/S/R brake efficiency. Started to work on that about six and packed up a few minutes before the 8 O'Clock Kick Offs.

Had that car over nine years and used occasionally as a back up spare car for the family. Nice example but, I will offer it for sale ...

I've had a few quid on CITEH to progress but, if that bet loses, I'll be a pleased COYS enthusiast.

My idea of a misshapen lop sided WIN-WIN situation....

Now 3-2 Citeh... ......the Football Gods may no longer be on the side Spurs despite away goals advantage ... at the moment.

Glad I packed the tools away early. Hate to have missed this. Like to see Liverpool progress too.
