Evening all, in reflective mood atm,just trying to compose an entry for the book of remembrance at the crem, for my dad. His anniversary is not until December,but the entry has to be in by the end of this month.
This weekend will be the second birthday I have spent without him around, just as well we will be away, sorting out our daughter's uni house, will give me something to focus on, still raw at times.

Evening all, beautiful evening now, not to hot with a light breeze. I'm not a sun lover but I must admit it's been stella for the tomato plants, we've had a ton of nice ripe tomatoes off them already.
Sliced tomatoes on hot buttered toast is yum.

Salad weather again so we've had beef casserole with spuds for tea.

Dads just rang! he's messed up his settings on his new big 4K telly, His dementia & his hands shaking means he's pressing a bunch of buttons at the same time on the remote.

the remote has a voice activated do-dah on it but it doesn't recognize Lancy dialect

, Google doesn't either

Screw em.

Edit: Sorted, Mam had switched the Tivo box off.

On today's jobs list is to get the Banana up and running again. Allen's coming over to help/show me what to do.

Going to be baking hot again today (high 20s) and I've got a summer cold/flu thing going on. Not as bad as I was, thankfully the barking dry cough has died off but still choked up, headachey and flu like aches and pains.
