baby is back home- thanks guys
i had a 'fuel pump problem' as diagnosed by a garage who wanted to charge me £209 plus labour- i posted the question on the tech help board- and was presented with the real problem and the solution- i took the info to the (sceptical) garage who re-seated the fuel filter and bingo .......my baby drives again- total cost £70 labour
many thanks to the tech-heads on this board, i now know where my first port of call will be in future in my street of 60 houses there are 3 rover 75s a green 02 classic, a silver 03 conn and my beloved silver 53 classic (all in pristine condition) this begs the question- how did rover go bust after producing such an amazing vehicle? i class every 75 driver as a friend now |
