Got it 4 wheel tracked at eurofit after the muppets at Kwik Fit told me they couldn't do it as it needs "a special tool" and take it to a "main dealer"

Weather permitting will look at the constant running fan the weekend and may be fit the new DAB ariel.

And if I'm feeling brave fit the new osram chromatic indicator bulbs to the back of the tourer

I'm not nearly as motivated as the other posters. I find that a couple of months of quarantine has really spoiled my work ethic getting things done.
The only job I have on tap is to remove the wheels from my ZT, which I painted a month or so ago to clean and apply a coat of Autoglym super resin polish.
Along with that I will be replacing the locking wheel bolts with standard items as the removal tool is starting to show it's age. Tyre fitters have obviously been using rattle guns on it.
One done so far, I'm hoping to do another on Sunday, but we'll see.

I was hoping for warmer calmer weather to do filters and an oil change on my Tourer

well, past couple of weeks I have rubbed down and painted part of the roof of my mother's car. Past few years my front bumper has really been annoying me with the lacquer peel. So buoyed by doing her paint, I bit the bullet and painted the bumper. So tomorrow I will be refitting it (I did buy a cheap second hand one, that turned out to have good paint, but was marked in other ways (it had obviously hit something at sometime!).

for rattle cans, on relatively windy days, I dont think it is too bad. It is NOT a pro job, but I think it will blend well enough to the age of the car.

I would heartily recommend THIS product though if anyone was touching up colours, and even giving it a quick spray when using a touch up stick works miracles to smooth and blend it in!

Great looking job on the bumper, Alan.

How many coats did you need?

Cheers,
Karl.

There were 2 undercoat/primer, 3 for basecoat (sections had 4, but I was running low by that stage, and didnt want it splattering), and 4 top - 2 were too thin, and far away. Once I got confidence in it and realised how I needed to put it on, I only had enough for two decent top coats. A spray gun (which I have) would have been better, but didnt feel confident enough to get the correct stuff without killing myself in the process lol.

It did need flattened and polished after, but it was more of a challenge, never done it before. Close up it wouldnt be a job I would be happy paying for, but still happy enough. I still think a gritter will destroy it, so will see in the winter lol.

Incidentally I ordered it from your neck of the woods, Lendrum Weir, via eBay. The colour match for mine, and my mother's clio both seemed to be quite good. The touch up brush, applied with a cotton bud (dabbed on) then sprayed with the spot blender is excellent.

In between some showers yesterday I started to check out the front pads with the intentions of changing them out.

Dont forget to buff up those aircon pipes Steve. Little bit of Solvol Autosol on a thin strip of soft cloth, rag, wrapped round the pipes and just a few seconds and it’s like new.
