Default Father and son project. ;)

Well today my old man and I decided its time too bring the Lexus back and were going too do a father and son project and get it on the road once again.
No rush just do it a bit by bit when we got free time.
Its not often anymore my dad's tinkers with cars due too his COPD and tires very quickly, how ever as I said no rush just take our time and sort it out together, starts first time and fresh petrol and a fully charged battery.
V8 is coming back.

I like that version of the Lexus. Then they ruined the design.

The Mk1 and Mk2 facelift versions were cracking cars, the LS 430 not so good, till the Lexus Ls 460 came out holly sweat Jesus its au some.

My dad's had three Mk1's and one Mk2 facelift the one we got.

The bomb proof cars and stand there test of time very well.
she'll need a new alternator as the bushes are gone and no longer holding on charge.
Front wishbones need doing.
Exhaust needs upgrading for the pure V8 ROAR!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Service and kit and so far that's what it needs.

Will be rising the car off the ground after I've done work on the probe.

Hey nice one Dave, those are really nice cars indeed, that really needs to be restored as you say. The quality of those cars is superb, I've never owned one but I did drive back from Honiton in one many moons ago, my mate bought a Ford F350 pick up truck from an American classic car dealers down there & asked me to drive the Lexus back.

Beautiful smooth powerful cars o drive.

Hiya Ian how you doing mate.

they sure are and more then a match against the 260 75/ZT, BMW and Mercedes.

Lexus stuck two fingers at the bmw and Mercedes at the time as they were in there prime in there day, till Toyota came in and Lexus was born as the new luxury car alternative and it did really well.

there becoming classics and now climbing up the ladder price ever so slowly.

Its been booked for a MOT and it will be next week on Wednesday, will need to sort everything pretty fast before the test due.

But with my dad and me on the helm this will sure be a pass for sure.
after its passed I'll be getting this done.

That is a super looking car Dave I've never owned a Lexus, but wish I had, they really do look the part.

Glad to hear you and your father are joining forces to bring her back to her glory, you will have to do one of your videos for us when she's at her best.

Cheers Wes it needs to be used or it will just fall apart, there becoming classics and are starting too go up in value on the money tree.
