Just arrived home very tired following a truly brilliant weekend organizing & attending the Lakeland Memorial gathering in respect of Freebyrd [Brian Alexander]

Jan, Myself, Linda & Bri would sincerely like to thank each & everyone of you who attended today thus making for a very enjoyable day spent with our Friends both old & new at this & hopefully the continuance of the newly renamed Lakeland Motor Museum Freebyrd memorial Gathering.

Congratulations to DavidT the winner of the inaugural Freebyrd Memorial Award.

Congratulations also to Actros the winner of the Furthest Traveled Award.

Would like to add my sincere thanks to Jan & linda for all their assistance with this today, couldn't have done it without you both.

Will post up some pics tomorrow, once again many thanks to you all.

Regards.....John.

Some pics of a brilliant day from The Freebyrd Memorial Gathering held at the Lakeland Motor Museum in honour of 'Freebyrd' Brian Alexander.

We arranged to have a trophy for 'Car of the Day' which was chosen by a member of the museum staff, the winner on the day for the Freebyrd Memorial Trophy was awarded to DavidT for his MG ZT well done David.

A trophy was also award by the organizers for the Furthest Distance Travelled Which was awarded to Actros, well done Mate many thanks for attending.

We look forward to seeing you all again next year, many thanks to all who attended, very much appreciated.

Sorry I missed it John, but the weather was foul here and didn't fancy the drive over. Looks like a grand day out for you all 😎

No probs Ronnie, we all missed you though, fully understand about the weather we came down on Saturday through heavy rain in the Lakes but Sunday was ok.

We will catch you again Ronnie, take care of yourself.

Cheers.....John.
