I just think we Diesel drivers have less incentive to go fast - Our cars don't sound as good as a V6 when you give it the beans!

If my CDTi sounded anything like a V6 (or a V8 for that matter) I'd be bankrupt putting fuel in it. Give em plenty of beans!!!!

The OP specifically asked us not to debate the differences in the car engines, and we should respect that.... Coz everyone knows the diesels better anyway..

For what it's worth, all the cars I have stripped bits off at my local breakers have been 1.8s.

Well I've voted for one of my cars, but don't seem to be able to vote for the second... probably a matter of you people with tractor engines trying to stop the proper motors getting the recognition they deserve!
