V6 and V8 drivers only drive fast so their fuel doesn't run out before they have got anywhere!

If my CDTi sounded anything like a V6 (or a V8 for that matter

The OP specifically asked us not to debate the differences in the car engines, and we should respect that.... Coz everyone knows the diesels better anyway..

For what it's worth, all the cars I have stripped bits off at my local breakers have been 1.8s.

Well I've voted for one of my cars, but don't seem to be able to vote for the second... probably a matter of you people with tractor engines trying to stop the proper motors getting the recognition they deserve!
