Plus, wasn't the R75 V8 set up for soft pansy-assed suspension..?
PMSL Yes it was built for comfort not speed... a little like yourself

I dunno, that could be pant-smearingly frightening.. I mean, I can't exactly speed in my 2.0L Diesel, but even that can scare the life out of me around corners at 35.. Imagine that in a V8! No, I don't think my heart could take it.. Or indeed, my dry cleaners..

As for me being built for comfort rather than speed, I'm surprisingly fast over short distances.. Admittedly more so if there's a donut stall within a hundred yards, but the point stands..

The New Zealand test driver in this video likes the cornering ability of the Rover 75 V8.

I could do with a bit of help on the subject of the cornering ability of the 75 V8 but Mike and the other owners are off line at the moment..

But suffice to say, its a heck of a lot better that a 75 diesel

Okay, the thing I was getting at was is the 75 V8 set up on the same suspension as the ZT V8?

I think you will find the suspension set-up is closer on the V8 75 & ZT than the big difference you find in the FWD models. The RWD set-up took so much effort and money that they wouldn't have been able to do it for both cars... so i'd assume there will be some tweaks here and there, but not huge differences like the normal 75 to ZT set-up
