Tyres are probably the most expensive and the reason you have uneven rtyre wear is probably from the bushes and steering rack. Just start buying parts and when you have the lot replace everything in one hit. Thats what I've done. I recently purchased new springs, shocks, track rod ends, bushes, anti roll bar joints, wishbones. Everything was bought cheap as I kept checking eBay and buying and making offers when they were available. Just take your time and do it slowly.
