KV6 Timing belt change
Hi all
I'm in the process of changing my primary timing belt. After fitting the new idler and tensioner pulley, I have now fitted the new primary belt, and the tensioner. I have removed the timing tools so everything is clear. The timing marks are spot on. Haynes says to refit the crank pulley and turn the engine through a complete cycle to make sure the timing marks end up in the same place. Fitted the crankshaft pulley, but it doesn't matter how much I pull on it, I can't get the engine to turn over. I have all the plugs out, so no compression issue. What am I missing ? Help!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! |
