Default Headlight Replacement

Hi guys, another one for ya?! I today replaced the headlight bulb on my rover 75. The wire bulb retainer, which holds the bulb in place has completely come away from the bulb on both sides. Its not snapped or anything but I am struggling to understand how it re-attaches...please advise!!!

The best suggestion I can make is to look carefully at the other lamp using a mirror if necessary to see how the clip is located in the holder. Don't release it of course, unless you want double trouble! See if you can see how the ends of the clip are located in the holder. I know the release loops are held by hooks, but you probably know that.

That's a great help. I'm sure this will be excellent for people getting into a mess with a detached clip.
