washed down the inside of the conservatory, made and fitted two doors for the wife's wardrobe, fitted a study light, taken down an old fence, erected a new fence, done some gardening, sanded down a wooden kitchen work top, put some trim around the inside of a window, sanded two window boards, temporarily fixed a vertical blind, had a bit of a sort out of the garage to get rid of stuff, put caravan back on axle stands so suspension can rest , made something so we can lock our side garden gate and had some bon fires.
goodness that list makes me sound as if I have been busy macafee2 |

Painted the front door and garage side door but I’m not on lock down as far as work is concerned as I’m in a key industry. I’m on holiday for a few days, so first bit of time off in the last eighteen days including Saturday and Sundays

Gardening, cut the grass, more gardening, drank cider, cleared out the garage, more gardening, house has had a spring clean, drank cider, washed both cars, even the one that won’t start, more gardening, cut the grass again, drank more cider, been shopping, been for a walk or lots, all the washing is up to date and drank more cider.

Yesterday.
Got the ladders out to strike the Union Flag from the chimney following St. Georges Day. Furled it and put the lazzie bands on to keep it warm and descended the ladders. In that order. If I fell off on the way down I would be wrapped in the flag when I landed but as it is a quiet road nobody would see it anyway. Wasn't aware of the two opposite neighbours nattering over the fence, if they think that was 6' they need a new tape measure. They were watching my trembling legs going up the ladders to the roof and then down again. Got a round of applause from them and another gent walking his bulldog. Thought that was apt. For a moment I thought I'd joined the NHS. Today. Cut several pieces of glass to size to repair greenhouse no. 2 following damage some time ago when dead branches broke off a tree in the wind and smashed the panes. Had half a ton of glass left over from when I closed the business so now have a beautiful multi-coloured pagoda-like refuge in the garden. I quite like being locked down.

Cleaned 7 cars. A building is being demolished next to my yard, and they were very dusty!
