Trip meter
Every time the ignition is turned off the trip resets to zero. any ideas why?

Could the reset button contacts be stuck 'on'?

it looks like your ipk is losing the 12v supply every time you turn the key off....
check passenger box fuse 29 which is the permanent live supply to the ipk
