air con, what tempreture
when the air con is running and for this question the controls are set on both sides to 16 degrees, what temperature should the air out of the two centre dash vents be?
Interior of car is warm to hot due to sun being on it all day. macafee2 |

Dependent on outside air temp, most modern A/C systems can reduce the air temp up to 25c. If the outside air temp is above 30c you will struggle to get 4c.
We are lucky here in the UK the air temp rarely gets that high so our A/C systems have a fairly easy life but when it does you soon realise if your A/C system is in need of a service and I don't mean a top up. |

Connect up the sensor and once it recalibrates to the correct reading, try the aircon again. TC |

Did you select 'LO' on the temperature control buttons? Are you measuring the temperature at the face level vents? Is your radiator fan running continuously? Was the system left to evacuate for about 30 minutes before recharging? Simon

Does not the thumbwheel under the clock position affect the temperature from the vents
ie, open or closed |
