Want to reduce your spam and remain anonymous?
There is a site called "Mailinator" it provides disposable email addresses that you can generate yourself and pick up from, say for website authentication and such without being spammed to death thereafter.
For instance [email protected] and I can now go and pick up any mail sent to that address. There are also lots of different names to substitute for Mailinator as well that the site will tell you about. I saw this on BBC's "Click" program years ago so its all on the up and up. Beware though anyone using the same address can view the emails so its not secure, its just throw away! |

Using an email address like 123456 for instance will have a lot of people using it. Dredge up some old number plate from your past and its highly unlikely anyone else will have thought of it. |
