This has been developed for marine applications but is apparently equally at home on cars:

Yes, I have too and a few of my friends have ordered it. Looking at comments on Facebook and their site it isn’t long lasting and needs topped up but looks very easy to do so it wouldn’t be a problem to do every year. I’m going to order some in the future and give it a try

My oldest car is a 1964 Triumph TR4 with significant mileage. I bought it in February 1980, ran it for many years and did the body up around 2009 / 10. One thing i changed was a move to paint rather than underseal. As can be seen by my occasional postings I also quite like railways and so painted all the underside with BR Spec 81 underframe black obtainable from TR Williamson Ltd of Ripon. My car remains rust free underneath and does not have the benefit of a garage - just a carport. If it is good enough for BR traction then it is good enough for me and has shown it to be so.
That said all down to personal choice as to use sealer or perhaps paint - decisions decisions! |

And I've quite a bit of old engine oil - it's great on fences if you can get it past SWMBO . |

Be careful with old (used) engine oil, as I understand it's carcinogenic .
