Default Cam belt and clutch change - Kv6

Good afternoon Gents,

Still looking for an exemplary 75, I've come across a "mint" Connoisseur, but which has done the thick end of 100K and never had the cam belts changed - and the clutch is noisy.

However, the quotes I've had so far todo both jobs make the purchase something of a no-no - but that said, does anyone know of a specialist in the Birmingham - Wolverhampton area who might quote a figure to make buying the car a more tangible proposition?

Seems such a shame how so many 75's - especialy V6's- go to the Great Henry Taroni in the sky because of the disproportionate cost of repair.

Lates is the one you want. He has done my connoisseur twice. Had a nice ride out to see him last August. You can watch him work and while working, he will tell you if he see’s anything else that is a bit dicky. He noticed my brake pipes, and I had them done in September, along with the two wishbone bushes, and the lower engine mount, which was absolutely knackered. Give him a ring. You will enjoy the ride back.

Can't praise Lates highly enough, he did my ZT clutch last year (plus all previous work/servicing on my ZTs), took him and Pete around 2 and a quarter hours including a coffee break.

I even gave him some extra beer money as the labour price was so good (I supplied parts).
