My usual approach to situations like this: "What suit bag?"; "You said you'd already packed it"; "I told you not to forget it".

If none of the above work, you can always resort to the truth: "I distinctly remember packing it, you must have lost it"

Above all remember: the actual truth is best left for the brave and the foolish.

When we arrived I pretended to be surprised I still have a pulse but only because George at asda was still open when everything else was closed and I am told <that will do> Only because close by are Next and TK Max that we Will be visiting tomorrow I am told
