Lost youth
On a lighter note:
Overtaken by a fit of nostalgia for younger days, I’ve just watched Paul Whitehouse and Bob Mortimer fishing on a beautiful river. It was the last of six episodes and re-filled the depleted reservoir of reverie we all carry. One of them called their dog by name and it rang a bell somewhere but I can’t..quite...get....the.... church....it’s.....in. The dog’s name was Ted and my mind jumped to a line from a poem I knew as a boy. It’s driving me mad. Does anybody know where the line comes from? ‘’....Daft Ted, Danuta, and me”.

Thanks Cliff, a lifesaver. And my apologies to Deaf Ted. I doubt he would have heard me though.
