As above. On our cars the ECU does not play a role in alternator operation or battery charging. The alternator is a simple 2 or 3 pin device of the traditional type.

A bit of a longshot, but crankshaft pulley slipping ?
Have you had the crankshaft pulley replaced yet ? Have you checked that the alternator pulley is actually turning at a reasonable rate ? Last edited by MarkS; 22nd December 2021 at 12:30.. |
