I didn't know there was such a thing!
Spring is just around the corner (hopefully still attached to the car!) Have a good day, wherever you are.

Had that not long after getting the 260, hit something on the A74 just before Abington. Limped into the services, got the can of shaving foam out, it came out of a hole on the inside of the tyre as quick as it went in. Happened just after midnight, waited two hours for a flatbed, finally got home about 4am. First thing I did when I got up was source a spare wheel. Takes up a lot of the space in the boot but better than being stranded.

With our daughter using our car until hers is repaired it's going to be shopping day today on a busy Saturday Missus wants to come so it'll be a wheelchair jobby, I hope they've got some of those shopping trolleys designed for wheelchairs handy or it's going to be a tough day.

Well that was a right pain in the butt! Had a go at the rice cooker, disassembled the lid, as suspected found a broken wire where it passes through the lid hinge, checked the other two wires, they were still intact. Patched a bit of wire in, solder, heatshrink etc, reassembled everything. Switched it on, same bl00dy fault code Everything in bits again, turns out despite seeming ok when I checked them a second wire involved with the sensor in the lid was broken, real quality design! Reassembled again, switched on, working again.

A very grey and murky day here.

What a day! The BIG ASDA store didn't have any of those wheelchair friendly shopping trolleys available . I spoke with the manager & he said the attachments on every one of them that locks the wheelchair in place have all broken & no replacements have arrived yet.
I had to take her back to the car whilst I did the shopping.

Evening all, a busy day today, started off with a dog walk at Broome pits, met up with Mike & Sharon (Shapfell on here) and their dog Barley, Meg and Barley had a great time running and playing ball.
Then Norfolk Ninja popped in for coffee, followed later by Kev666 & Denise. Off for some shopping then some house chores, discovered that the noise on the ztt isn’t the bottom pulley as suspected but a failing water pump!! Tea is cooking and I’ve downed half of the first pint, fire on, dog napping.

I finally resurfaced at about 16.00. Been in bed most of the day. Some sort of sickness bug. No appetite at all, but I did manage to have some soup. And kept it in. My neighbours across the road were a bit concerned as I hadn’t opened my blinds. Sent me text to make sure I was ok. They do have a key.
Got my PJ’s on and watching the snooker. Might risk a wee malt, for medicinal reasons.

Tried some of the ceramic wash and wax as recommended by Dorchester2 on the Sportage this afternoon. Looks shiny but was already, having done a full Autoglym a couple of weeks ago. It seems to help with the beading and water run off. Full report in coming weeks as it weathers. Off to get some Ibuprofen on my knees now. This cold weather is giving them some pasty and we haven't had our Corfu sun top up for two years now!
